After Prom planning for 2024 has begun!

It is that time of year again! Prom and after prom are just around the corner! We want to provide a safe and fun space for our Juniors and Seniors to continue their prom celebration into the wee hours of the morning. NHS Boosters’ biggest, and most important, event of the year is sponsoring and implementing an amazing and safe after prom. The primary purpose of an after prom is to help ensure the safety of our students and community after the annual prom.
Our theme this year is ‘Welcome to the Circus!’, and we are looking for volunteers of all kinds to help with their time, talents, and resources. After prom will be held at Niwot High School on April 13th beginning at 11:00pm and will go into the morning of April 14th until 3am. Just like last year, we are planning a fun-filled night with tons of activities - including live entertainment and circus-themed events throughout the building!
Do you have a hidden circus talent? Would you like to help entertain our students during After Prom? We are looking for some interesting and fun entertainers to fill out the evening’s activities. We would love to include some caricature artists, hula hoopers, silk performers, acrobats, jugglers, strolling musicians, etc. We are hoping for volunteers to help us out. What do you think? NHS Boosters After Prom Donations: Please register to donate at our website’s Donation Station.
We are looking for moms and dads of all grade levels to help out. After Prom is for Juniors and Seniors, but it also takes Freshmen and Sophomore parents to pull this off successfully. We have many ways for you to get involved from volunteering your time, donating decorations or prizes, helping to organize the prize giveaway, sponsoring an activity at after prom, creating and decorating for it, helping the night of the event, and helping to clean up the day after. Overall, we need over 100 volunteers in various capacities, so, yes, we do need YOU! Bring your partner and bring your friends. Let’s do this together! If you are available, we would love for you to attend the next two After Prom planning meetings on March 25 and April 1 @ 6:30pm at Nourish & Co in Niwot. We’ll have snacks and adult and soft beverages available, and will be working on building decorations and finalizing our prize plan.
